The International Committee of Museums of Ethnography and Dr. Baerbel Kerkhoff-Hader, University of Bamberg, invite you to register for the ICME/2011/Banz Monastery conference to be held from October 2-5 in Banz, Germany. You may submit a paper on the theme of the conference, "Dissolving boundaries. Museological approaches to national, social and cultural issues," or joins as a participant. The meeting will include sessions as well as an excursion in Upper Franconia. A pre-conference tour of Bamberg, a world heritage site, has been planned. The annual ICME post conference tour has also been organized.

Conference registration fee includes admission to all academic sessions, the conference pack, coffee, tea, as well as participation in all social events.
***The one day excursion to Upper Franconia (4 October) is included in the Conference Registration fee. Participants not staying at the Banz Monastery will be responsible for a €35 fee for meals.
Pre-conference tour includes Bamberg city tour, museum admissions, bus travel to Banz.
The Post-conference tour fee includes bus travel and local transport in to Görlitz, Dresden, and Nuremberg, four nights of hotel accommodation, 4 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and admission to various museums and sites.
