available for retrieval via e-mail. Please note that all this material is
also available via the World Wide Web.

                            International Committees

internet.faq             -  The ICOM Internet FAQ

london.meeting           -  A report from the London meeting about
                            ICOM's presence on the Internet

minutes0995.html         -  The minutes of the September 1995 meeting about
                            ICOM and the Internet

netpolicy.html           -  The Internet Policy Statement adopted by the
                            ICOM Executive Council

officers                 -  The Chairpersons and Secretaries of ICOM's
                            International Committees

resolutions              -  The Resolutions adopted by the 1995 ICOM General
                            Assembly

statutes                 -  The ICOM Statutes

tokyo.resolution         -  The Tokyo Resolution text and a preface about
                            ICOM's participancy in the International
                            Alliance


In order to retrieve any one of these documents you need simply address a
message to

    [log in to unmask]

For example, if you would like a copy of the Internet FAQ, send a
message to

    [log in to unmask]

It is not necessary to put any text in the body of the message. If you do
include a text, it will simply be ignored. It is not necessary to indicate
any subject in the message address. Whatever text you put on the Subject:
line will be echoed on the Subject: line of the message containing the
requested document.

Please note that all documents with the extension "html" contain hypertext
markup tags. This will be useful when viewing a document in a Web browser
but may be somewhat of a nuisance when using a simple text viewer or a
word processor. Commentary about this and other aspects of ICOM network
services is welcome on the ICOM-L e-mail distribution list.

This material is no longer available from that source. However, some
documents contributed by other ICOM bodies may still be obtained there.
