Dear ICOM members

The ICME web site has just been updated with both the
program and with important practical information on the
2005 ICME conference "Can Oral History Make Objects
Speak?", to be held in Nafplion, Greece, October 18-21:
  http://icme.icom.museum

A large number of exciting paper proposals were submitted
this year, which the listed titles show. However, there is
space at the conference venue for many more than just
those who will be presenting. We invite also YOU to join
us in Nafplion for discussions, workshops and museum
visits.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The Hellenic National Committee of ICOM has given us an
UPDATE with practical information about hotels,
transportation to/from Nafplion, Conference and
Post-Conference tour registration and more. Our Athens
collegue Marlen Mouliou particularly mentions that AUGUST
24th is the payment deadline for hotel and Post-Conference
tour fees. There are still spaces available for ICOM
members who haven't yet registered, but you need to hurry!

You'll find complete information on the ICME website. Go
to
http://icme.icom.museum for the details!

Regards from
Daniel Winfree Papuga
ICME President
