Hi Beverly, 

You're in a pretty good location there, about the same distance to Cafe Du Monde and Cafe Beignet. As for which is better, there is some debate. I prefer Cafe Du Monde, but many people swear by Cafe Beignet. You can't really go wrong either way. If you're just going to experience one, I would recommend Cafe Du Monde because  - how can you not?
