The University of Delaware's Winterthur Program in Material Culture might be what you are looking for. It was established in 1952. The emphasis of the program is on household furnishings and decorative arts, but the program itself is very multidisciplinary. I would direct you to contact them as follows:

https://winterthurprogram.udel.edu/

Martin Brückner, Interim Program Director ([log in to unmask])

Laura Olds Schmidt, University of Delaware Program Director, Winterthur ([log in to unmask])

The University of Delaware also has a jointly sponsored program in Art Conservation with the Winterthur Museum, during which students have access to Winterthur's world class Scientific Research and Analysis Lab.

Theresa Slusser - Administrative Assistant, Art Conservation ([log in to unmask])

Best of luck with your search!
