festival this summer and will be happy if you would like to participate in
our event! Below you will find short information about our Festival.


*International museum Festival “Intermuseum 2011”*

*Dates:* 1 – 8 June 2011

*Festival mounting:* 2 – 3 June 2011 *Dismantling: *8 of June 2011

*Participants’ registration:* 2 – 3 June 2011

*Opening ceremony:* 3 of June 2011

*Business program: *4 – 6 June 2011

*Working time for visitors*: 4 – 6 June from 10:00 till 18:00

                                               7 June from 10:00 till 15:00

*Venue*: Central House of Artists, Crymskiy val, 10, Moscow, Russia.



*Participants:*

Russian and international museums of different types, including museums of
libraries, archives, charitable foundations, handicraft workshops, companies
and educational institutions. Regional ministries of culture, universities
and professional museum organizations will also participate in the Festival.

Ø     Main Festival exposition

Ø     Business program

Ø     International multimedia presentation of actual museum projects
“Window to the world”

Ø     Exhibition “Museum technologies and equipment “Technomuseum”

Ø     Interactive theater and museum programs.

*Festival aim*

The main aim of the Festival is to integrate into the sphere of humanitarian
interaction among CIS countries, to enlarge contacts with international
museum community, to create effective dialogue platform for experience
exchange and modern museum technologies and management models approbation,
to form conditions for young specialists’ joint work, to stimulate their
work and maintain youth inter-museum projects.

*Business program*

On the first day of the Business program ICOM Russia will organize the
Second International seminar on Мuseum security. And during second and third
days there will be two plenary sessions dedicated to the best museums of
different types: first – the biggest European contests and their winners of
2010; and second – the best museums of a kind.
