It is a pleasuer to announce that the next CIMUSET conference will be held in Brno by the Technical Museum of Brno, The Czech republic from the 6th to the 10th of June 2011.

The Theme of the Conference is: Technical Museums as Guardians of the Past and Educators of the Future.

The sub-themes are:
-       The role of the collections and individual objects of Technical Museums in a changing social environment
-       Restoring objects. Should the restored technical object look new?
-       The museum and their visitors. How should we rouse the interest of children, schools and the "Silver Panthers" in sciences and technology?
-       Challenges of the future - answers from the Museum
-       Technical museums as "Agoras"?
-       International co-operation for better understanding and improving the image of science

Program and registration will be available soon. Deadline for proposals for presentations and papers is the 4 April 2011.
