Dear Colleagues,


I would like to announce that my term as Chair of ICOM Europe (2005 - 2010) has ended at the General Conference in Shanghai. My successor is Damodar Frlan, Chair of ICOM Croatia. In due time he will inform you about the new Board and give you a summary of the General Meeting of our Regional Alliance. 

It was in many ways a great honor and a tremendous experience to be responsible for such an important field within ICOM.
That is why I would like to thank the former President, Alissandra Cummins, the Executive Council, the Chair of the Advisory Council, the Head Office in Paris, the Chairs of WOGRA and the Chairpersons of the National Committees for their support. My very special thank you goes to the members of the ICOM Europe Boards and my longterm assistant Katharina Fibig. You all made it possible that our efforts for European museums and the exchange with various museums in the world have been so successful.
